This class explores the body’s relationship with the floor and space, moving fluidly between grounded and upright sequences. Dancers engage the full body with an awareness of energy distribution to achieve movement fullness and presence in space. Drawing on diverse dance techniques and approaches, the class emphasizes anatomical awareness, functionality, and efficiency as pathways to artistic growth. Through continuous exploration of weight shift, dancers expand their range, dynamics, and texture, cultivating both physical precision and creative expression.
